Many schools and organizations hold special evening or early morning presentations on Internet Safety. Experts such as local police, legal counselors and other professionals can be brought in to support the Tech Department in addressing the parents. This is a Piktochart or infographic to present to teachers in my school about how to implement Internet safety.
Sway is a new app from Microsoft Office that makes it easy to create and share interactive reports, personal stories, presentations, and more. With Sway, there’s no need to spend lots of time on formatting. Its built-in design engine takes care of making your creation look its best. If the initial design doesn’t quite match your taste or mood, you can easily apply another — or fully customize your layout to make it your own. It’s super easy to share your finished Sways. Family, friends, classmates, and coworkers can see your creations on the Web without signing up, signing in, or downloading anything. And you can change the privacy settings for any Sway whenever you want more control over what you share. This is a SWAY I created to deliver instruction to my First graders about the characteristics of living and nonliving things.
ScreenCastOmatic is an example of screen recording software used by many teachers to record their lessons so that students and/or parents will be able to view it outside of class. A screen recording software is a tool that is used to record a lesson including video, audio and the computer screen. I used this software to make information more accessible to older, less technology savvy, members of my organization.
