About Me

I intend to showcase my talents and capabilities as an educator as well as introduce myself to you. You will see that it is comprised of my resume, and my philosophy of education as well as a plethora of artifacts exhibiting my experience. My passion for educating young minds and making education accessible and enjoyable to every learner, through the effective integration of technology, is evident and I truly believe that I possess the tools and virtues necessary of an effective and empathetic educator. I believe that because of this, I have the ability to assist children in becoming productive and contributing members of society with the tools and abilities to reach their maximum potential both inside and outside of the classroom. I attended Nassau Community College where I earned my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and then Morgan State University where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I student taught in Howard County, Maryland and I currently teach First Grade in Malverne, New York. I also serve as the Technology Specialist at my school.
